We serve our community by providing families and neighbors with a place to call home that is respectful of nature, the environment, and the human condition. The Park is a multi-generational outdoor sanctuary that is mindful of the earth and its natural physical and spiritual bounty.

We serve our county and western North Carolina High Country neighbors by providing a sense of place: creating a sanctuary where our rich natural and cultural heritage lives and thrives.

We serve our state and country by promoting actively what we believe are sound values of community development and ecological protection.

We serve the world by doing our part to do things right, to support the environment, encourage positive action, and develop human community.

We do this because as a community we are fortunate to have a sprit and a character, which have been good to us, and in which we believe.

And because we are a private non-profit organization, we exist and grow organically thanks to people like you who care about those things.

Because everyone is different, has different ways and means, you will find here a wide variety of ways and means by which to support the park, the community and our western North Carolina High Country neighbors. You can do so by donating online by Credit Card or PayPal, by donating merchandise or services to our yearly auction, by volunteering, or by helping us find grants and endowments. You can do so by leaving a kind word of encouragement, or sharing your stories about our community and the park, by sharing photos, and by recommending the park and community to friends.
