Founders

To say the park is a big part of our small mountain village is akin to saying that the Beatles were a nice little rock group from Liverpool; It's quite an understatement. We hope here, on behalf of our whole community, to express our profound gratitude to the founders of the park. Their clear vision of our community and its natural elegant simplicity, helped build both the park and the community into what they are today. They continue to help us maintain a clear sense of place, of common community identity, a sense of where we are from, or from where we have been lucky enough to come. A very few key institutions help define the fundamental character of Valle Crucis, and the park is one of them. The founders' efforts enabled us to have a place we can call home. As such no quantity or quality of words can express the gratitude we store in our hearts for the park's visionary founders.
