![]() ![]() Mission & Objectives The Valle Crucis Park is in the truest sense a community park. It was established by local people for the benefit, use and enjoyment of local people. The park serves not only as a community gathering place for local residents, it also acts as a land trust for Valle Crucis. For over twenty years, the park has served as a natural refuge – a green space preserved in perpetuity that contributes to the scenic beauty and ecological health of Valle Crucis. As the popularity and use of the Park have increased, the priorities of the Park’s staff and Board of Directors have evolved to meet the growing and changing needs of our users. However, the founding principles of conservation and community continues to guide all that we do. The Park will continue to acquire land, both to increase the recreational opportunities available to visitors and to protect our scenic views from development. ![]() "We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures that we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open." ~ Jawaharlal Nehru |
