Covered Pavilions ~ The Park has two covered pavilions which are available for group reservations. Reservations can be made by calling the park at (828) 963-9239. Friends of the Park (FOTP) are eligible for reduced rates, as indicated in the table below.

~ No parties totaling more than 300 persons.
~ Watauga County Schools and Government Offices and Valle Crucis
~ Churches may reserve a park space at no charge.
~ Reservations are for 4-hour blocks and must begin at 10am or earlier or at 3pm or later on the weekends.
~ Friends of the Park status is based on last and current year's gift of either $100 donation or 10 hours volunteer time per family (or some combination).
~ Parties of 50 or more require a $100 deposit (FOTP exempt).
